So my son has joined the world at last, I am relieved and equaled worried at the same time. I get so much joy from just holding this sleeping immobile child watching his little arms flail in random disorganized intervals. I feel so happy when the faint hints of a smile emerge. It’s a bliss that cannot be put into words, but I still worry so. I worry about what sort of person you will become, I worry about all the things I can’t protect you from.
I want you to be happy and hale. I want a bright future for you my wee son.
