I write about things that bug me so for the sake of variety I thought I would write about the few things that don’t make me into a seething pile of snark and bitterness.
1) I really like, and love my girlfriend and her little boy. I like how he gets excited when I come into the house and wants me to watch horrible children’s shows with him. I like how he laughs when I play toy story with him. He’s a pretty cute kid. I love my girlfriend and like all the love I see in her eyes, I like how I feel safe while holding her, and I like the way her smile transforms her face.
2) I like my comic books, specifically the works of grant Morrison and Alan Moore.
3) Ummm…. I guess I really like what-a-burger. It’s pretty damn good food, not going to be the best burger you’ll ever have but for fast food it has real taste and is filling.
It’s much harder to think of things I like and to then write about them with a degree of sincerity, so don’t expect to see this with kind of regularity.
