Normally at this time of year I become incredibly sad,but for probably the first time ever I don't necessarily feel that way. In fact I feel quite hopeful and enthusiastic; which might be misplaced but god what a relief it is. Despite the fact that I don't have someone to share the holidays with, I can't really feel too sad.
I feel like I am in a good place, I have applied for grad school, I don't know if I am going to get in or not, but having a goal feels like a great thing. I have a vision and drive for the future so why get hung up on things.
Yup, I feel like I am in a good place growing as a person and trying to do new things, it could get better from here.
Anyways enjoy the holidays and I'll see you kids next year.
