Picture this true believers, a bunch of voters elect a guy who promises to set the state straight by dismantling the department of elder affairs, department of corrections, department of management services, refuse to raise taxes, cut the state pay roll, and intact an agenda that could be described as fucking stupid by any person who still believes in logic and reason.
Also picture this true believers, this particular state leader is in charge of a state right smack in the middle of old hurricane alley. True believers imagine that the "fair" budget is passed and the local municipalities have to make "tough" choices, which tends to mean lay off firemen, police officers, first responders, and all those "lazy" state workers who are needed when attempting coordinate an effective plan to deal with an imminent disaster.
True believers, it’s only a matter time before this fate plays out, and one wonders would our governor reject federal reconstruction funds to show how bona fide he is in the eyes of the tea party faithful or would he begrudgingly accept the much needed money provided by the federal government. The moral if there is one, true believers, is that the biggest threat to America is Plutocrats who are continuing to successfully punish the middle class. They wrap themselves up in the mantle of "real America" but your concerns are not the same as theirs, true they might be mad that a black guy with a "strange" name is president but that is where the similarities end. Our overlords care about one thing and that is money, namely how to hold on to it.
So when that hurricane comes barreling through; and it’s not a matter of if one hits Florida but when it does, don't be disappointed by the pittance the insurance company pays out because it’s more important that they have a healthy quarter then it is for you to have a house.
