it's true, I hate most everything
The great tragedy of American life is that Sandra Bullock has now won an Oscar. Does anything in her filmography hint that the actress who starred in Wrestling Earnest Hemingway, Demolition Man, and The Lake House had the chops that would one day win her an Oscar? People say the golden globes are a joke, but any prestige and veneer of respectability the Academy Awards had were irrevocable lost when she won her. She projects likability, but has no discernible talent other than being a pretty face and vaguely likable. Ted Bundy was said to have projected those same traits. I’m not saying she is a serial killer, but in a sense she is because her movies are lazy, banal, and pander to the worst part of the human experience, she is guilty of killing the human spirit with each new movie she releases.
